Sphynx Cat Care:

Ears: Sphynx cat’s ears also need to be cleaned at least once a week. You can use ear cleaner for cats. We strongly recommend you to ask your veterinarian doctor about proper ear cleaning.

Nails: nails should be cleaned and trimmed at least twice a month. In order to clean their nails you can use a piece of cloth, and if you need to trim nails you should use special trimming scissors which is available in every pet store.

Note: only sharp end must be cut off , or you will damage the blood vessels.

Bath: cats should take a bath at least once a week. You can use your sink as a bath tub for kittens and bath tub for adult cats. Note: never use a regular soap or shampoo! You should use special shampoo for cats. Water should be warm. Note: be careful that the water will never goes to the ear; it’s very dangerous for cats!

Feeding: We feed our cats with premium cat food (usually comes in cans). One aluminum can (6oz) twice a day, but we recommend feed them three times a day. Dry food and water should be available 24/7.

Litter box: You can use any litter box. We use automatically cleaning litter box for multiple cats. If you use a regular litter box, you should clean it every time after your cat makes it dirty. Sphynx cats love to have their litter box clean.

Bedding: Sphynx love warm bedding. For our Sphynx cats we use regular blankets in order to keep them warm, and also we put a small heater in the room during winter time. Temperature should reach at least 65* and can go higher.
